Schupan Launches “Take ’em Back” Campaign Video to Promote Recycling in Schools
Helping Kids Save the Planet, One Can at a Time!
Schupan has partnered with Earth Cubs to release a new video teaching Michigan’s 3rd-5th graders about the importance of redeeming deposit containers. The video, part of the “Take ’em Back” campaign, encourages small actions like returning containers, showing their positive environmental impact.
In addition to the video, Earth Cubs offers activity pages for teachers to integrate into their classrooms to support the lesson. The campaign responds to Michigan’s declining redemption rate, aiming to build lifelong environmental stewardship in kids. The goal is to help kids understand that every bottle and can they return is a step toward a healthier planet – and it’s also a great way to save for something special.
Schools are encouraged to join the “Take ’em Back” movement by using the video and educational materials available at the Earth Cub’s website and the new Take ’em Back site.
